Today, Steve Jobs’ words: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do,” really struck a chord with me, although I must confess that this isn’t the first time I would come across the quote. In fact, I had previously shared this in an earlier post.
Yet, thinking more about it, I can see that it is so true! When you are passionate about something, you pour your heart and soul into it. You are willing to go the extra mile, to face challenges head-on, and to keep learning and growing. That is how you create something truly special; something that makes a difference.
So, as I dwelt on the validity of this quote, it reminded me to reflect on my own work. Am I truly passionate about what I am doing? If not, what can I change?
Maybe it’s time to explore new avenues, to take on a new project, or to find a way to infuse more of my passion into my current work.
Thankfully for me, I am very passionate about empathy, care and compassion, which are all at the core of what AllThingsDavina does.
This is meant to be a powerful reminder that our work shouldn’t just be a means to an end, but a source of fulfillment and joy.
